Hello! My name is Maya, and I'm a 5th-grade student at Bright Stars School. My school is a big and colorful place. We have many classrooms, a huge library, a fun playground, and a nice cafeteria.
Our teachers are very kind and helpful. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Davis, our English teacher. She always makes learning fun. My best friends are Lily and Tom. We always sit together in class and play at break time.
At school, we have some important rules. For example, we must always be on time for class and we shouldn't run in the corridors. We also have to keep our school clean. These rules help everyone learn and feel safe.
After school, I join the Art Club on Tuesdays. We paint and draw beautiful pictures. Tom is in the Science Club, and Lily is in the Drama Club. We also have special events, like "Friendship Day" in October, where we learn about different cultures and share our favorite traditions. Last year, we learned about schools in Japan.
