Short Story: The Forgotten Dishes
Mia always loved playing video games, sometimes so much that she forgot about her chores. One evening, after a long session, her mom reminded her, 'Mia, please wash the dishes before bed.' Mia nodded but decided to play 'just one more level.' One level turned into three, and soon she was too sleepy to wash them. The next morning, the kitchen sink was full of dirty plates, attracting tiny flies. Her mom looked disappointed. Mia felt a pang of guilt. She realized that putting off responsibilities only created bigger problems and made her feel bad.
